Our organization was founded in 1999 as the Chateauguay Focus Group. In 2004 when we wanted to get more incorporated in the community so we became The Chateauguay English Community Network (Le Reseau Anglophone de la Communauté de Chateauguay) also know as the CECN. Throughout these years the organization has evolved enormously by creating new opportunities, events and more. Therefore this year we have been moving towards changes that will enhance our work in the community. So since May,2016 we are now know as the Monteregie West Community Network.
